Temat: Video stuttering in Plex
...mini, with 4 gb ram which by some accounts is underpowered, but it used to play my 1080p's flawlessly. no stuttering, no slowmotion or sound sync issues. then at some point in past couple of releases it started with all these problems. in all fairness, i dont think vlc ever played my media flawlessly yet plex was the only program that was able to. which is whats so frustrating and annoying that it started doing this too. not sure waht the issue is, i remmeber at some point in the older series plex moved tempoarily to a newer version of ffmpeg and i had similar issues. maybe thats waht happened. xbmx plays the media fine, but still not as great as plex was able to play it in the good releases but better than plex plays right now. i hope whatever is causing this problem can be fixed soon.

Temat: Can't add TV programs
Your file name for the pilot (and any other shows if you have them named the same) won't scrape properly in plex. The season and episode number have to come before the episode title. V - S01E01 - Pilot.mkv would scrape properly. I think you may have to specify the 2009 version as well. Name your series folder and all episodes to this to avoid confusion with the older series: V (2009) ----> Season 1 --------> V (2009) - S01E01 - Pilot.mkv --------> V (2009) - S01E02 - [Title].mkv (the titles of the show aren't necessary, but most people like to keep them) Anything that comes after the S##E## doesn't get scraped at all, so you can have anything there.
