In this issue of the Last Trumpet Newsletter, we will deeply consider a serious condition that exists in America, which is of the utmost urgency. What happens when a nation goes too far in resisting the one true God and His Holy Word? The above verses tell us that Old Testament Israel fell into this very condition, and the consequences were severe. Even a simple study of the Old Testament reveals that Israel fell into severe forms of idolatry, dishonesty, fraud, homosexuality, and baby killing as they lusted after the heathen societies around them. The first verse above goes so far as to use the word conspiracy in regard to the religious leaders, which brought forth the wrath of the Almighty in great measure.
